About Morecambe Artist Colony
Morecambe Artist Colony (MAC) is a not-for-profit group of local artists and creatives, passionate about using art for the regeneration of our town by instigating, delivering and supporting curated, high-quality art-led exhibitions and projects in existing, new and under-used spaces in Morecambe.
MAC are working with the local community and internationally renowned artist Marcus Vergette to site a Time & Tide bell on the Stone Jetty. The bell, one of several sited around the UK coastline, will bear an inscription created by the community and will be rung by the rising tide.
